    Naushaba Patel

    Women and Trans Health Education and Outreach Specialist

    Naushaba Patel is a queer woman and trans activist who is passionate about having conversations around intersectional feminism, structural systems, sexuality and queerness. They work as the Women and Trans Health Education and Outreach Specialist at the Montrose Center, focusing on reducing health disparities and building intersectional spaces particularly centering QTPOC (queer trans people of color) and queer disabled communities. Naushaba gained their Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University and their favorite activity is blowing bubbles in parks. As a queer Pakistani Muslim immigrant who has traveled and lived in multiple countries, Naushaba loves finding the human connection in every encounter, and also empathizes with the unique strengths, resilience and creativity that comes with navigating life as a minority.
